New Balance True Balance Toning Shoes Released in the USA

New Balance have boosted their Wellness footwear  collection this month with a new line of toning shoes which promise to tone the lower body by up to 29% more than standard walking shoes, and even increase calorie burning by up to 10%. However whilst the stats are good, the most striking aspect of these toning shoes is not their ability to shape the lower body, but the fact that they can do this with a design which is highly fashionable, stylish and does not feature an inch of underfoot foam.

New Balance True Balance shoes were released this month in the USA, and have widely been regarded as the most attractive toning shoes on the market. Featuring cool styling and a host of technology borrowed from the highly popular running shoes, they pack in the features whilst keeping the weight of the shoes to the bare minimum. They match their style with a highly comfortable design, and use a seamless Phantom liner to remove all potential sources of abrasion from the inside of the shoes.

With a smooth interior, all potential sources of irritation are removed, with the lightweight uppers providing a close and highly comfortable fit. The uppers are constructed from a highly breathable mesh to maximise the escape of heat and moisture from the shoes, with C-CAP compression moulded EVA foam in the midsole to give great shock absorption and a high degree of flexibility for a natural feel and flex when walking.

Rather than use a rocker sole or instability pods to get the extra burn, New Balance True Balance feature an innovative new design which offers greater stability, whilst altering the balance slightly to get the muscles working harder. The outsole, in contrast to the shoes currently on the market, offers a much less pronounced rounded design, with a spring system in the centre of the midsole to help increase muscle activity. Wearing the shoes helps to tone the lower body faster, acting on the calves, quads, hamstrings and glutes.

By developing their own toning technology, New Balance has been able to achieve what other manufacturers to date have failed to do, which is to construct a toning shoe which looks exactly like standard sneakers.  With such a wide range of toning shoes on the market which are immediately identifiable as toning shoes,  the design offers something quite different and is surely enough to see them become one of the most popular choices for women looking to lose weight and tone the lower body.

The styles are highly fashionable in their own right, and with the toning and weight loss properties they should be a winning package. It is too early to tell how effective the shoes are at toning, with only a couple of weeks having elapsed since their launch. Over the next months, as women across the United States have a chance to give them a thorough test, it should become apparent how the 29% boost to toning and the 10% calorie burn works outside of laboratory test conditions. One thing is certain, that with the style and cool designs, they are sure to be a popular choice, and certainly enough for women to give these toning shoes a try.
