Go hiking up the Garden of Eden in Sri Lanka!
Some people will actually book a holiday, and not research what you can do. Sri Lanka is a forest land covered in greenery and a few villages, littered with several religions and different beliefs. This already makes it an intriguing country, but what does have to offer the average tourist?
The prices for some of the luxury holidays on offer to Sri Lanka, are ridiculously low. Almost all of Sri Lanka’s resorts are of unbelievable quality, all of which are high star rated as well. Sri Lanka is world renowned for some of the Spa techniques that the resorts use. This is making Sri Lanka, and places like Thailand very popular places to enjoy a spa holiday.
Spa holidays; these aren’t the only activities available to you, why not try something a little more exciting and adventurous. There is a very famous mountain in Sri Lanka called Sri Pada, also known as Adam’s peak. Many people wonder where the Garden of Eden is, but the Muslims and the Christians believe that Adam was cast out of the Garden of Eden and this mountain was the first place that he set foot. Reaching heights well over 2000 metres, this is one massive mountain, but make sure you don’t try and climb it in the rainy season.
If you want to try and head out on an adventure, then there are options to go on Safari tours with some experienced tour guides. There are now many different tours, exploring caves or travelling to an elephant orphanage. You can even scour some of the mountains to se if you can uncover any of the famous gems that cover Sri Lanka’s country side like sapphires or rubies.
Maldives holidays, Sri Lanka holidays and Dubai holidays are increasingly becoming the first choice of holiday by any tourist, most of this is due to prices and the more common knowledge of these fantastical places.
